Gorgia Lisi, Bsc (Hons), Adv Cert Vet Phys, MIRVAP, Clin Ed, Veterinary Physiotherapist

Gorgia Lisi, Veterinary Physiotherapist, Oxfordshire
The Institute of Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists

Animals have been a big part of Gorgia's life since pre-school, especially horses, dogs and cats. Her long term interest, not just in riding and training horses for sport but also in their welfare, led her to investigate opportunities for a caring role in animal welfare and furthering her studies from the pure veterinary care. She now knows she has found her niche within the world of veterinary physiotherapists.

As a veterinary physiotherapist, Gorgia works as part of a team of specialists to ensure your animal is working at their peak performance and getting the best out of life. This can include working alongside others such as a veterinary physiotherapist, trainer, owner, rider, farrier, saddler, dentist and veterinary surgeon with whom it is of great importance to maintain a good relationship to maximise the benefits for your animal.

Throughout Gorgia's years in education she has competed in a range of equestrian disciplines, and particularly showjumping where she has regularly competed in BSJA competitions.

As a veterinary physiotherapist, Gorgia offers physiotherapy assessments and treatments to clients throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding area and specialises in equine and canine rehabilitation and maintenance care.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her three collies on the farm and riding her horse Keeva.

Amy Searle, Level 3 Dip Eq Sports Massage Therapist, BHSAI

Amy Searle, Massage Therapist, Oxfordshire

Whilst growing up in Cornwall, Amy had always been surrounded by a multitude of animals but her biggest passion shone through with horses.

After completing her A-levels she made the move to Gloucestershire to train for a year at the Talland School of Equitation where she obtained her BHSAI teaching exam and full stage 3. Since then, she has worked on a number of competition yards as a groom/rider, gaining experience with a wide variety of horses. Recently, Amy has added equine massage therapy to the list of services she can provide and under the watchful eye of Deluxe Vet Physio, successfully passed her level 3 diploma in 2023.

Amy has a love for dressage and has successfully competed up to Inter 2 whilst training Grand Prix at home with her now-retired horse, Alfie. She currently has 2 horses: Harry, who she has owned since he was 3, now training at PSG with hope to go further and Flo, a newly backed 4 year old. With competing at national level and understanding the work needed to produce horses from a young age, Amy understands the importance of a fit, healthy and supple horse and has been supported by Deluxe Vet Physio for several years. It was watching Gorgia that inspired the move to become a massage therapist.

As an equine massage therapist, Amy’s main role is to provide maintenance treatments and evaluations in line with Gorgia’s work and a team of specialists.
